Fish in the marketplace
just got back from laguna...
here goes...
have you ever heard the silent scream of a fish?
i did.
they lay there, like they're just sleeping...
then the person who sells them picks one up..
he then opens the head part of the fish...the mouth of the fish instantly opens...
that's when i heard it...
the scream coming from the fish's open mouth...
like it knew its brain was gonna be taken out...
then finally, blood comes out of its mouth...
it's dead.
sounds silly?
i know...
but imagine if it was fish who ate humans...
disgusting right?
post
have you ever had those times when you think nothing makes sense...
then you ask somebody about that...
and before you can finish the question, it suddenly makes sense?
Rewind
Last night, under the stars, i wept
behind curtains, while the sunlight slept
Silent tears i cannot hide
feelings long gone, growing inside
Shrouded in darkness with nothing to see
Only you from afar, not seeing me
I'm back in this trap, chained and locked
every word shunned, everything mocked
Here it is again, the weight of my heart
World seemingly drawn in black and white art
you heard, i know, but never listened
Now here i am again, tired and weakeaned
I'm back again to where i once started
Familiar things that i once thought ended
comes flowing back only now different
this old feeling awakened, only very different
Dark cold, yet noisy inside
it started again, i have to hide
Once more i feel this feeling that died
but now it's you that's left in my mind
As much as my heart and soul wants to stay
i just cannot bear the pain on the way
I'll just freeze my heart, ice cold and blue
i need to keep myself from thinking of you
I sit here thinking as time passes time
Thoughts silently flowing with rhythm and rhyme
I never noticed, i never knew...
Damn....i just made a poem only for you.
<<:i forgot how good it feels to write on a blog:>>
Dust
One of the little wonders
that life would often offer
The curious falling dust
that shows in early after dusk
Soaring low, floating aimlessly
Swimming in air, shining beautifully
Falling, rising, falling once more
Silently flowing, not doing much more
Yes i know, they're seemingly worthless
Miniature objects, stuff that are lifeless
But what good are they if we cannot see
how still and static life can be
The little things might never matter
Dust in the air might never solve world hunger
But as this foolish poem ends, just wonder
Isn't it that little things do matter?
